Both with regard to our own company and in the interests of our customers in industry and trade, we see it as a necessity and our responsibility to preserve an environment worth living in for future generations - and to take an active role in combating climate change.
Our medium-term goal is to reduce our CO₂ emissions in Scope 1, 2 and 3 of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG) by half by 2030 compared to 2023 and to further significantly reduce them in the long term.
EMAS Certification
With the introduction of an environmental management system in accordance with EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) at our headquarters in Bönnigheim, we are taking responsibility and want to contribute to preserving a liveable environment for future generations.
EMAS enables us to systematically record our environmental performance and work on continuously improving it. Our approach to environmental protection is holistic and practical. We align environmental measures with operational processes, regulatory obligations, and laboratory standards to integrate sustainability effectively and responsibly.
Using the best available and economically viable technology is central to achieving our goals.
